We are excited to announce that Typelevel is a Mentoring Organization for Google Summer of Code 2026! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to spend their summer working on Scala open source projects with mentorship from Typelevel maintainers, while earning a stipend. Our 2024 contributor Ching Hian Chew (a student at Singapore University of Technology and Design) wrote a blog post on her experience.
